How to Freeze Your ThinkHub Content for Presentations

Freeze Mode temporarily locks all content and the Canvas in place, preventing accidental movements, while allowing annotations and full-screen. This is ideal for presentations, data dashboards, and high-traffic environments.

What is Freeze Mode?

Freeze Mode temporarily locks everything in place on your ThinkHub Canvas. When enabled, you cannot move the Canvas or any content on it. Additionally, your ability to open the ThinkHub menu and add new content is restricted. However, you can still annotate and toggle objects in and out of full-screen mode.

When to Use Freeze Mode

Freeze Mode is ideal for environments where multiple people will be interacting with ThinkHub, and you want to prevent accidental changes to the layout. Some common use cases include:

  • Corporate Lobbies: Use ThinkHub as an interactive, self-guided presentation tool while preventing unintended movements.

  • Data Command Centers: Allow users to examine live dashboards without accidentally adding or moving content.

  • Conference Rooms: Keep key presentation materials in place while still allowing annotations.

How to Enable Freeze Mode

  1. Locate the Freeze toggle on the left center of the Canvas. (Note: this is not a standard ThinkHub feature—it is added to ThinkHub by request. If you do not see this option, contact your IT admin to request it)

  2. Tap the Freeze toggle.

  3. Once activated, the entire Canvas and all content will be locked in place.

  4. You will still be able to:

    • Annotate using ThinkHub’s annotation tools.

    • Put content in and out of full-screen.

How to Disable Freeze Mode

  1. Tap the Freeze toggle again to unfreeze.

  2. Once disabled, you can move, resize, and interact with content as usual.

Troubleshooting Freeze Mode

  • If you don’t see the Freeze Mode option and want it enabled, contact T1V Support.

  • Remember that Freeze Mode does not prevent annotation or full-screen actions, only movement and new content additions.

By using Freeze Mode strategically, you can maintain a structured and distraction-free ThinkHub experience while still allowing essential interactions.
