How to Save Websites with Browser Bookmarks

Browser Bookmarks in ThinkHub allow you to quickly save and access frequently visited websites, making it easier to navigate to important online resources. Here’s a guide on how to use this feature.

Use Browser Bookmarks to save frequently visited websites for future reference. Note that Browser Bookmarks are saved to the ThinkHub itself, so they will remain throughout all Canvases opened on that ThinkHub device.

Browser Bookmarks can be especially helpful in use case heavily dependent on web-based content, including dashboard reporting.

To use Browser Bookmarks:

1. Accessing the Browser

  • Open your ThinkHub Canvas.
  • Tap the Browser icon in the toolbar to launch a web browser directly within the session.

2. Navigating to a Website

  • Enter the URL of the website you want to visit in the browser's address bar.
  • Tap Enter to load the page.

3. Adding a Bookmark

  • Once you’re on the website, tap the dropdown menu in the lower-left corner of the browser window.
  • From the menu, select + Browser Bookmark to save the website.
  • The page will be bookmarked, making it easier to access in future sessions.

4. Finding and Accessing Bookmarks

  • To view your saved bookmarks, open the ThinkHub Menu by tapping the T1V icon (press and hold anywhere on the ThinkHub canvas).
  • Navigate to Content, then select Browser Bookmarks from the dropdown.
  • A list of all saved bookmarks will appear. Tap the bookmark you want to open, and it will open a web browser with the saved webpage.
