How to set up your video to loop and/or autostart in ThinkHub

ThinkHub provides powerful tools for managing video content on the Canvas. Two key features—Video Loop and Video Autostart—make it easier to control how your videos play during meetings and collaborative sessions.

1. ThinkHub Video Loop

The Video Loop feature allows you to continuously loop a video, ideal for situations where you want a video to repeat without manual intervention.

How to Use Video Loop:

  1. Add your video to the Canvas: First, share the video file to the ThinkHub Canvas by plugging in a USB or using the T1V app.
  2. Open the dropdown menu: Tap on the video file to bring up your Canvas tools. Select the dropdown menu on the bottom left.
  3. Select ‘Loop’: From the dropdown options, select ‘Loop Off’. It will then read 'Loop On'. The video will then continuously play in a loop until you manually stop it.T1V_Screenshot_Video_on_ThinkHub_Video_Menu

This feature is perfect for presentations, promotional material, or instructional videos that need to be repeated.

2. ThinkHub Video Autostart

The Video Autostart feature ensures your video starts playing automatically when you open the ThinkHub Canvas in your room. This can save time and create a smooth, hands-free experience during meetings.

How to Use Video Autostart:

  1. Add your video to the Canvas: Share the video file to the ThinkHub Canvas.
  2. Open the dropdown menu: Tap on the video file to bring up the dropdown menu.
  3. Select ‘Autoplay’: Choose ‘Autoplay’ from the dropdown options until it reads 'Autoplay On'. Now, when the ThinkHub Canvas is opened in your ThinkHub Room, the video will start automatically without needing to press play.

Autoplay is especially useful for setting up meeting spaces ahead of time, where you want to ensure a video starts playing as soon as participants arrive.

Combining Video Loop and Video Autostart

You can use both features together! To have a video start automatically and play on a continuous loop:

  1. Select both the ‘Autoplay’ and ‘Loop’ options from the video’s dropdown menu.

With these features, ThinkHub offers greater flexibility and control when sharing videos, making it an excellent tool for presentations, training, and collaborative sessions.
