Use ThinkHub's Venn Diagram Template to compare and contrast two groups or concepts.
The Venn Diagram template in ThinkHub is a powerful tool for visualizing relationships and commonalities between different groups. This template features two overlapping circles, with each circle representing a distinct group and the shaded overlapping section representing the common elements between these groups. Follow these steps to get started with the Venn Diagram template:
- Download the Venn Diagram Template.
- Upload this Template to ThinkHub via the T1V app.
- Add your thoughts: With this template, you can add your ideas one of two ways
- Add Notes to Groups: Add notes to the most relevant group. If a note is relevant to both groups, add them to the center group. You could also consider adding relevant images, videos, and PDFs to each group.
- Annotate: To annotate directly on the circles, use the annotation tools available in ThinkHub to write your ideas in the appropriate part of the circle. With this option, you do not need to use the Groups feature in ThinkHub.
Additional Tips for Effective Use
- Color Coding: Use different colors for notes and annotations to distinguish between the groups and their commonalities clearly.
- Group Headers: Update the Group Headers (which default to A, B, and AB) to clearly define what each represents. If using the annotation method, add a title to each circle in place of the group header.
- Interactive Discussions: Encourage students to add their own notes and annotations for a more active learning session.
